Fun video finds (all links to YouTube): a PBS broadcast of some excerpts from Anders als die Andern, introduced by Vito Russo! Unclear when it was aired, sometime in the 80s probably. And while looking for decent-ish version of Opium (I wanted to look at those beautiful, beautiful shots of baby!Connie again, and I only have them on the computer), found this multi-film fanvid for silent films! Feels like old YouTube in the best way possible. So many eras and genres here. Warning for Un Chien Andalou and some bastardised colourisation work.

Enough live-action remakes of animated movies! What the people want is animated remakes of live-action movies. A Woman's Face animated with cats when lol

Apotropaic sounds nice, has a great meaning, and is... weirdly versatile? Dunno, end up using it at least once a week.

Ugh, I feel that. One my degree essays was about 19th century art theory and lord, the things the critics wrote could be barbaric! Took some psychic damage lol

Oh dear! I quite liked C19th and early C20th theorists because they repeated themselves so I only needed to read a couple of pages instead of the whole thing.
