Hello Everyone!!!
28 October 2020 15:40I'm new here. Decided to create this because:
a) Tumblr be kinda shit (not leaving, just want to breath some fresh air).
b) Since my wee child times (aka I was 11) I been lurking on Livejournal and on here. I was desperate in terms of fandom I ended up lurking here.
My name is Bernie and I'm a wannabe artist and animator. I'm 20smth years old and I'm studying to become an art historian.
I like Vincent van Gogh's art, Doctor Who, obscure kids' shows, (retro and obscure) video games and animals (dawgs <3). And some other things too I put them on the likings page Dreamwidth gave me when I signed up.
My favourite Doctors are (in this order), the seventh, the first and the twelfth. My favourite companions are Ace and Barbara (but I love most of them; this goes for the Doctors as well). My favourite story is Ghost Light. I'm slowly making my way through the VNAs (not really having fun) and Big Finish's Main Range and Gallifrey (having lots of fun).
I'll try and post my art here, as well as musings (that will probably be crossposted on my website as well, maybe Tumblr??).

Date: 7 Nov 2020 21:45 (UTC)While I rarely post (or, indeed, even check in) with my Dreamwidth account these days, it is always lovely to meet another Seventh Doctor fan.
The New Adventures can be very hard work for those of us who prefer their Doctor and Ace to be vaguely in character. Alas. But Kate Orman wrote some good stuff. And the great thing about a novel series that inflicts all kinds of angst on Our Heroes while refusing to ever tidy up the mess afterwards? Fanfic. Fix-it fanfic.
I hope you find Dreamwidth useful, and I bid you (for whatever it is worth) welcome!

Date: 8 Nov 2020 10:21 (UTC)Indeed, I'm reading Kate Orman's first novel now and... it's much better than everything i've read so far (and I enjoyed Human Nature a lot).
And oh I know about the fanfic thing. I read a bunch of your stuff :D Brightens my day!
Thank you so much for your warm welcome. Like you said it's always nice meeting a fellow seventh Doctor fan. I can't seem to find a lot of us these days.
