It has occurred to me that The Last Performance will become public domain next year. Free-to-use Erik! oh no

I've gotten plot bunnies for a pre-canon fic (there was a Brazillian magazine called Scena Muda, and one issue gave Erik a whole backstory, very possibly coming from production notes). Apparently he was a Russian noble that fled Russia after the revolution and ended up working as an illusionist's assistant in Hungary. And then he got really damn good. Good for him.

Ooh, I like your art very much, no matter what you say. Human proportions are harder than one may think, but it feels like you get them well.

As for the fanvids, I am so-so on them. Sometimes they are as good as their source show, other times they are meh. That and I am not very familiar with the Adventures of Sir Lancelot.

Not too familiar with The Last Performance, still, but now I am intrigued.. I've got weirder starts in niche fandoms!

Lastly...
Yeah, the Internet Archive needs better security. It's no wonder stuff gets lost. : (

Most of these fanvids are just funny (and thirty), but the Redo one is pretty good. It does match the source material really well.

The Last Performance is one of those pieces of media that "hits your heart harder than your brain", because if you really think about it, the plot is meh. But I love the characters and the cinematography is gorgeous. It's on YouTube.

Performance of IA is alright. It's a bit slow, sometimes downloads don't work.

(Side note: my favourite streamers dropped In Stars and Time. Welp, time to find another playthrough)
