1. When did you start watching?
2010/2011?

1a. Why?
Ahem *inhales*
I searched on YouTube for documentaries about Vincent van Gogh (IRL blorbo no. 1) and found a clip from Vincent and the Doctor. Got interested and watched the episode.

2. What was your first episode?
I went to the SyFy Channel and the ending of Planet of the Oods was playing. Cool. On another day, I went to the SyFy Channel and the ending of The End of Time part 1 was playing. Cool.
When I found the clip from Vincent and the Doctor, I was intrigued, pirated the episode (it would take a year for it to air here anyway) and loved it.
So I say Vincent and the Doctor, since it was the first one I watched in full.

3. Which episodes have you seen?
All of them. Including the "missing" episodes 😏 Except the ones that are missing of course. I've only heard those *sweating*

3a. Favorite?
Ghost Light is my favourite. The atmosphere is wonderful, the story is super interesting (and it makes sense, I swear!). Vincent and the Doctor is a close second.

4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?
Nope. My dad will casually watch a "thin-nosed guy" episode (David Tennant). My mother loathes the show and even has forbidden me of watching it when I was a young teen. Several times. Why yes I did watch The Web Planet at 1am to avoid her wrath. My friends also have 0 interest.

5. Which Doctor is your favorite?
The seventh Doctor is my silly bastard man and I love him. Don't talk enough about him, but I really should.
Bonus first Doctor, because how can you not love him?

6. Which Doctor is your least favorite?
As much as I like John Hurt, the War Doctor shouldn't exist. That is, it would be more interesting if he didn't. And I'm not a big fan of the tenth Doctor (he's fine with Donna though).

7. Which TV companion is your favorite?
Ace! Who I also don't talk enough about! What a wonderful character. I would even say nuWho writers should study her to make their "companions with a mystery" better. And her relationship with the Doctor? *chef's kiss*
Bonus for Barbara because she's great and I wish she were my mum teacher.

8. Which TV companion is your least favorite?
RIP Kameleon. I always forget you existed. Wait, no, Adam. I always forget he exists, but he deserves that. So no RIP for Adam.

9. Do you listen to the Big Finish audios?
Yes. Usually when I'm ironing lol

9a. If so, which is your favorite?
Tough... I'll say The Transit of Venus, but that may not last, as I'm expanding my BF horizons.

9b. Also: which Big Finish companion is your favorite?
I love you Evelyn, and I love you Hex. And I love Oliver, even if I haven't properly met him yet. My heart will break, won't it?

10. Have you listened to any non-Big Finish audios?
Ah yes, The Time Travellers... and a bit of the Beyond the Doctor series.

10a. If so, which is your favorite?
Punchline (from The Time Travellers series) was great! Shame Ace Alice didn't get a decent solo story :(
Bonus for London 1965. I have a few quirks with it, but it was enjoyable and I liked Jamie Glover's narration.

Yeah! Also, you should read Nothing at the End of the Lane? It's very normal...

Alas, I am not Kate Orman.

11b. Which is your favorite?
My opinions on the NAs are erhm, but everything written by Kate Orman is great. My favourite has to be Human Nature (not Kate Orman) though. For the BBC range, The Algebra of Ice was fantastic.
As for short stories? Nothing at the End of the Lane. It's totally normal and will not mess you up.

12. Have you read any of the comics?
Oh I've read some, yes.

13. Do you watch any of the spin-offs (e.g. Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures)?
The TV ones? All of them (except S3 and onwards of Torchwood and the Australian K9. I refuse to watch those lol).
Fun Fact about Torchwood: it appears to be more popular in Portugal, because we got more DVD releases of it than Doctor Who. Come on BBC...

13a. Which is your favorite?
SJA is the best.

14. Is there any particular episode/book/audio/comic you desperately want to watch/listen to/read?
Anything Seventh Doctor and Ace and anything First Doctor.
Anyways, when I'm sad, I just put on Silver Nemesis or The Space Museum and have a good time.

1. Do you write fanfic for Doctor Who?
I wrote one piece, hated it, stopped, tried again, hated it, stopped. It was a vicious cycle. Now I'm writing for realsies.
We don't talk about those first attempts, though.

Here's some of the first paragraphs of my Crack Treated Seriously + TARDIS & Barbara feelings fic.

Earlier, the TARDIS had materialised in the middle of a forest clearing. The Doctor checked the readings and declared that everything was perfectly safe; they should go outside and explore.

It turned out it was not perfectly safe.

4. Have you been to any Doctor Who conventions?
I live in Portugal. You only get the anime conventions and Comic Con.
I never went to Comic Con, maybe I should.

5. Have you ever dressed up as a Doctor Who character?
One Halloween, I did a closet cosplay (or, as I called it, a cospoor) of the eighth Doctor. I wanted to go trick or treating. Was shut down because I was too old... at 13 :/

6. Do you own any Doctor Who merchandise?
As I said, Portugal is sad, but I managed to get some stuff.

Got very recently one of the volumes for Prisoner of Time too (no pics).

I watched shows, I watched movies. I saw Sylvester McCoy and Mary Tamm in the worst 80s movie ever! I watched almost 50 episodes of Corrie for William Russell! And if early TV wasn't thrown into the burning pits of hell I could be watching Jackie Hill as a comedic jewel thief! A comedic jewel thief!

14. Have you met any of the actors?
No one comes here and I cannot afford to leave the country :( And my fave is dead.

14a. Traveled to any filming locations?
Maybe one day I'll visit Spain and try not to get attacked by Androgums.

15. What do you think of The Curse of Fatal Death?
It was fun, I liked it. Dalek bumps are part of my vocabulary.

16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
Ahem...
The first and seventh Doctors are great, the cavemen eps of An Unearthly Child are awesome, The Edge of Destruction and The Crusade are masterpieces, Susan isn't useless, Dodo is a ray of sunshine who needs more love, S3 of Hartnell (along with its characters) is underrated, Silver Nemesis, The Time Meddler, The Web Planet, Delta and the Bannermen and Paradise Towers are so fun; I like Mel she's a delight, the sixth Doctor is good actually, I like SJA!Sarah Jane better than classicWho!Sarah Jane (and even nuWho Sarah Jane). And I'll leave it at that.

17. What’s your favorite pairing?
Barbara/Ian (obvs), Doctor/TARDIS. I also love One/Cameca and another secret fourth pairing. Wait, Katarina/Living is also my OTP, how could I forget!

18. What pairing(s) won’t you touch with a really long pole?
Ten/Rose and Doctor/River. It was the overexposure.
(Okay The Husbands of River Song actually made me ship them a bit, because hey I actually really liked River in that ep).
