2022 in Review
It. Sucked.
Very bad personal stuff happened.
My dog continues to be the best girl ever! She's offically an old lady (10 years!) but you couldn't tell. 'Cause she's an imp :D
Did some art. It was okay. Tried new things (namely semi-realistic pencil charcoal drawings), and it was also okay.
Movies I've seen: Confess Fletch, Curral de Moinas: Os Banqueiros do Povo - these were enjoyable (though the Curral de Moinas one is a bit un-PC, also it's Portuguese). The Bad Guys, Turning Red and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 were great! There was also one called Exorcism of God and it was shite. I've also been forced to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie and it was also shite ('cept the crabs and the mole dude, they were cute, but ugh). I wanted to see The House, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie and Del Toro's Pinocchio but didn't get to it. Most of the movies I've seen tend to be older.
Books: Dropped Sapiens, thought it was boring. Read Jack Hill. The Exploitation and Blaxploitation Master, Film by Film by Calum Waddell. Nice overview on the work of the director behind Coffy and Foxy Brown. Young Leonardo by Jean Pierre Isbouts and Christopher Heath Brown was neat andninformative, but had a few mistakes that I couldn't overlook. And there was also a lot of books for uni. Re-read Jacqueline Hill's bio.
Listening: I listed to Frostfire (Doctor Who Companion Chronicles) and it's hella underrated. Loved it loved it!
